Exmoor and Somerset Recipes
- Exmoorian
- I was left a huge cookery book consisting of handwritten recipes and cuttings from aged magazines and newspapers some time ago, and have decided to put any recipes that appeal or that I've tried and liked online here for others to see and perhaps try for themselves. The majority of these recipes are around 100 years old, and all were being cooked in the West Somerset area around that time. Newly transcribed recipes will be listed here on a regular basis. You'll also find quick posts on other Exmoor and West Somerset related subjects. These short texts will usually be combined with a photograph. I welcome comments and friendly contact. and even as I recently had an invitation to drop in for tea and cake! :-)
